Snowing Here

Good day, readers. I’m testing out the “post by e-mail” features on WordPress. E-mailing from my smart phone, no less. Nifty!

Thought I would share a scene of the snow piling up in our backyard. We might get up to seven inches. I hope!

Sent from my phone. Please excuse typos & brevity.

  1. Hey neat! it works. You might find more short posts like this here in the future. Might help lighten the mood.

Shoveling the driveway today my neighbor quipped, “Seems like we’re doing this three times a week now.”

Thank you, Nature, for making me exercise. 😉

  3. I hear you, VM. I’ve been using salt to save my back. So far it’s been a winning strategy. Haven’t had to shovel since the first time it snowed, when I was out of salt.

Pretty picture. I used to eat rock salt (sparingly) when I was a kid. Disgusting, huh?

  5. Not so much disgusting as worrying as a mom! Isn’t that stuff poisonous? Well, anyway, people have had all sorts of weird eating habits. I saw a lady on television who ate mostly chalk. For, like, 15 years!

  6. Patti says:

Oh sure, now you tell me. Ack. Okay, I didn’t eat it by the spoonful, just a piece or two at a time during the winter when the bag was out. I’m pretty sure my parents didn’t know. Rock salt isn’t used much around here anymore, so just the mention of it brought back those delicious memories. Heh heh.

I wonder what deficiency one might have if they are compelled to eat chalk?! Sickarooni.
